  • Fundamentals Checkup (10 marks)
    • Date: May 15, 2017. 
    • Exam format: 20 MCQ.
    • This surprise test checks students’ knowledge on some common topics on the prerequisite courses.
  • Model Test (10 marks)
    • It was actually a 17-marks exam, which was later converted into 10 marks.

    • Deadline: August 9
    • Type: Individual.

    • Deadline: August 31

  • Attendance (10 marks)
    • In a scale of 0 to 10, it shows a student’s degree of participation in regular classes. See Class History. See also: Rules.
  • Extra Participation (10 marks)
    • In a scale of 0 to 10, it shows a student's degree of participation in non-regular classes.  
    • Extra Participation = 10*[(A-B)/C] 
      • Where,  A = Total present in regular and extra classes, B = Total number of regular classes held in the semester, C = Total number of extra classes held in the semester.
      • Extra participation is zero when (A-B) is negative. 
  • Midterm Exam (30 marks)
    • June 15, Room 603, Time 10:00 - 11:30.  
    • Syllabus: Chapter 1 to 3.
  • Final Exam (40 marks)
    • Syllabus: Chapter 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 
    • Date: August 24 at 11:00 AM. 

Marks Distribution

Between the Fundamentals Checkup and Model Test, only the best one was counted. Among the Assignment, Project, and Extra Participation, only the best two were counted.
